James Clerk Maxwell Radio Society (MM0PMS)
We are a group of like-minded radio amateurs who feel that James Clerk Maxwell's contribution to science in general and the way we communicate as radio amateurs in particular has been greatly overlooked.
In early 2016 we decided to form the James Clerk Maxwell Radio Society. For a few years prior to the outbreak of COVID we activated around four events per year, including Science Week, Maxwell's Birthday, CHOTA, and Maxwell's demise.
Around 2022/23 we decided to make the group more active and now meet at Springholm Memorial Hall, Victoria Street, Springholm DG7 3LP. We meet on the first Saturday of the month from 11:00 to 15:00, perfect for anyone searching for a radio club in Dumfries and Galloway.
