Welcome to MX0WRC, the Home of the GB3MX Repeater on 145.6375. Multimode repeater connected to the cumbriaCQ.com network.
Workington and District Amateur Radio Club. Our club is dedicated to promoting and supporting amateur radio enthusiasts in the Workington area. We offer a warm welcome to new members of all experience levels.
Our Activities
We have a full and varied programme of activities throughout the year and invite speakers who present interesting topics relevant to amateur radio. The club has a well-equipped radio shack with both HF and VHF radios and antennas which members are encouraged to use on those nights when we have no speakers.
On-Air Radio Nets
On-air radio nets are convened via GB3MX on alternate Wednesday evenings commencing at 7pm. Details of settings for the repeater can be found at GB3MX Repeater.
Club Meetings
We meet at 7pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Moorclose Community Centre, Needham Drive, Moorclose, Workington CA14 3SE.
